Meet Lilly!

Lilly spent several months at a local shelter, where despite her loving nature, she was facing death row. She is a medium-sized, black lab mix who has an uncommonly sweet nature. She has a resilient spirit about her and seems to regard newcomers as new friends. Born in 1999, this energetic girl will need a family with an active lifestyle. She loves to romp and play in the sunshine—and particularly loves to swim!!

We found Lilly being cared for at the Home At Last Santuary in Salvisa, Kentucky. Home At Last Animal Sanctuary, accredited by the American Sanctuary Association, provides lifetime care for many animals including dogs, cats, pigs, cows, goats, rabbits and a horse, and includes a separate wildlife refuge.

They are a for-life sanctuary, emphasizing the concept of compassion and offering exceptional quality of life for many formerly abandoned or abused animals. Programs include rescue, adoption, educational outreach, low-income spay/neuter assistance, and feral trap/spay/neuter/release.
