Met Luv!

Beautiful, sweet, alert, energetic, inquisitive, playful, and loyal. All of these words describe this wonderful American Pit Bull Terrier born into discrimination and in desperate need of a family to call her own.

At one- year-old Luvey is housebroken, crate trained, up-to-date on all vaccinations and ready to devote herself to being the best dog your family has ever owned. She would love nothing more than to romp and play in a fenced in yard with another dog, preferably male, and children old enough to understand how to interact with their new best friend. Her hobbies are snuggling up for TV, kissing faces, chasing squirrels, squeaking toys and chomping on chewies.

Luv is currently being cared for by Animal Rescue of Tidewater in Norfolk, Virginia. They rescue and find homes for stray, abandoned, shelter-released and owner-released animals, advocate for improved animal welfare, educate the public about animal welfare and animal issues, focus on spay/neuter as the underlying solution to animal population control, work to build coalitions with their animal welfare partners and raise funds to support their work.
