Meet Victor!

Victor is a Viszla/Cachshund mix. He weighs about 25 lbs, is 1.5 years old and is neutered.

Victor loves life and other dogs, people, treats, toys and just about anything else you can think of. Although his foster peeps are not sure he is good with cats. Even though part of his mix is from a breed with a high energy level, he probably will not require the exercise needs of a vizsla and he is not over-exuberant for a young dog.

He should work out well for almost any family or person that are not looking for a “couch potato” dog. Victor has such a nice personality that he will make someone a really great pet since he also loves to sit in laps and receive some calm attention.

Currently Victor is being cared for by a foster home associated with the Animal Placement Bureau in Lansing Michigan. They are a volunteer foster care network with no paid staff and no sheltering facility. All of the dogs in our care live with their volunteers and become as much a part of their family as their own dogs. APB is recognized federally as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization whose primary goal is to place homeless dogs into loving, lifelong homes.

Victor seems to be house broke and we are working on the crate training since he would likely get into some trouble if left out on his own with no one home.
