Meet Outrageous Oatsie!

This cute little girl was pulled from the L.A. South Shelter just minutes before they were going to kill her. They kept her as long as they could and longer than normal because of her sweet face and disposition. Oatsie is funny to watch. She'll just be hanging out, chewing on a toy and then all of a sudden the inner hound will come out and she will sing.

We found Oatsie currently being cared for by Pryor's Planet, in Encino, California. Jennifer Pryor and her late husband, actor-comedian Richard Pryor, shared a passion for animals. They were crusaders together, championing the causes of both wild and domesticated animals. Whether it was helping save baby elephants stolen from their mothers or rallying politicians to prosecute animal abusers, the couple did what they could to fight injustice against animals. Today, Jennifer continues their calling, without her husband, but with the same unwavering conviction.

Pryor's Planet is dedicated to helping grassroots efforts in saving lives, providing sanctuary and making the world a better place for all creatures. Pryor's Planet is a non-profit, 501c3 organization. All donations are tax deductible.
