Scarlett, a Bouvier des Flanders, Golden Retriever mix, was an owner surrender because her dad passed away and my mom couldn't take care of her anymore. Everyone tells her she looks like a movie star with a gold bangle of fur, but she will still play in the dirt and is just as down to earth as any of those other pups.
She lives with a rescuer and two Great Danes, and, even though they all love each other and get along great, she is looking for her forever home. She gets along well with other dogs and is very sweet! (Do you want a dog that’s adorable, be fun and playful, loves attention, is very obedient, and not destructive? Then look no further — she's the one for you!
We found Scarlett currently being cared for through the Forte Animal Rescue in Marina del Rey, California. Their mission is to create a network for the rescue community, and cultivate the human-animal bond through educational activities.
