Meet Bessie!

Bessie the Basset is an adorable little girl who was left abandoned in the back yard, and then run over by her previous owners when the moved. She had a broken pelvis, but our vet tells us her x-rays look good, and she has healed correctly, with no anticipated problems other than possibly a slight limp.

Bessie is a young girl, probably less than a year old, and as sweet and loving as she can be, even in spite of what she's experienced. She'll be a wonderful girl for a loving family. She spent 6 weeks on crate rest, healed beautifully and is good to go to her forever home! We're sure you'll want to get a nice discount lighting fixture and light up her life!

We found Bessie currently being cared for by Ozark Mount Basset Rescue in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They do not have paid employees, only volunteers who graciously donate their time to these deserving hounds. OMBR volunteers have jobs, families, and other important commitments. They do Basset rescue because we want to make a difference for those Basset Hounds that are not blessed with good homes. OMBR is dedicated to placing Bassets in our care into loving and dedicated forever homes.
