Meet Scout!

This is Scout - one of our featured potential agility dogs this week.

If you're looking for the cutest dog ever, today is your lucky day. You found her! Scout is a petite pit bull girl, weighing in at only 25 lbs. She is a high energy girl who enjoys playing with other dogs, but she is rambunctious and can be pushy, so she will do best with a young male dog who can keep up with her. Scout can not go to a home with cats. Scout came into rescue six months ago with a severe case of demodectic mange. Her foster mom didn't even know what color she was at first, but she has turned out to be a beautiful blue fawn girl.

She has been treated for the condition and while she still has a little bit of hair growth ahead of her, she is "ready to go." She is an awesome little girl who is crate trained and has started her basic obedience commands. She is a busybody of a little dog, who will need a home with a large, securely fenced yard so she can run off her excess energy. She loves to play fetch and would be an excellent agility or flyball prospect. Scout is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm preventative and she is microchipped. Scout is located in Virginia.

We found Scout through Ring Dog Rescue. They are a rescue group dedicated to the "Bully Breeds". As a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization and are currently listing adoptable "bullies" from, not only Ring Dog Rescue, but our other rescue friends and those who have opened their door to an orphaned "bully" in private rescue.
