Meet Merlin!

Merlin is a very sweet, little boy who has had a very rough start. He was rescued in the nick of time by a good Samaritan from being drowned by the husband of a breeder because of the loss of use of his back legs. It appears that Merlin is the victim of a hereditary virus, passed down from his mother, and he cannot use his back legs.

He is currently being treated to prevent the disease from spreading. While it is unlikely that he will ever be able to use his back legs, he is full of life and energy, and loves to play. He is looking for a very special home, with a family that has the time and patience to give him all of the special care he will need. He is a very special boy. Merlin is in Warren, Michigan. So just hope in your rv and go see if he is the pup for you!

We met Merlin through Pets With Disabilities. They are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the adoption of dogs and cats with disabilities. The organization serves as a shelter and an adoption placement aid for animals that have been injured through trauma or disabled by illness.
