This is Stringer. He is a 4 year old dachshund mix. He came to the SPCA in March of 2008.
He was formerly adopted by a nice family, but they brought him back because he didn’t get along with their two toddlers. He is a very good boy and would do well in a home with children over 10. He walks well on a leash and never tries to run away.
Stringer likes to be petted on the head and belly. He needs to go to a home where he can get lots of exercise because, as you can see, he could stand to lose a pound or two! And you may want to think about getting some floor mats to put near the door, always a good practice with dogs to keep the house clean. So, do you want to be his new exercise buddy? Check out Stringer!
We met Stringer through the Central Texas SPCA, A No-Kill Animal Shelter, in Leander, Texas.
