Meet Wylie!

Wylie is a very sweet boy who is currently recovering from his neuter surgery (on 6/24/10)e. Wylie absolutely adores people and loves to cuddle. He is good with dogs and is very submissive towards them. He should be great with kids but young, loud and rambuncious children may overwhelm him initially.

He has not been completely cat tested, but so far he seems very respectful and a touch worried around them. He is crate trained and housebroken once he gets on your schedule. Wylie was used to being a housedog and is really happiest in a house but certainly appreciates the chance to run around in a fenced in yard.

Meet Missy!

Missy came to the shelter and kept climbing out of the fence but she was always right at the gate in the morning. She is very smart, very devoted (is always looking at her rescuer and wondering why she doesn't speak her language).

Missy would do well in agility. She is housebroken, loves all animals, is very calm (not a JRT trait) and a wonderful dog who truely just wants a loving home. Missy is 30 pounds, 1 1/2 years young and has white and brown short hair.

Meet Clara!

If you're looking for an easy fit into your household, why not give Clara the home she wants! She is the perfect dog for someone not wanting the muss and fuss that comes along with a puppy or high energy young dog.

Clara is a great girl who has gone from rags to riches since she came to Furry Friends Network and has quickly learned to enjoy the indoor life.

Meet Britain!

Britain is certainly a lap dog! She is a stray that was found in Wisconsin Rapids. We think Brit is around five years old. She is very loving and likes to be held and cuddled. She keeps us company in a bed while we work.

Brit also seems to do well with children and is totally worth her weight in gold bars!

Meet Annie!

Freckles, freckles and more freckles . Annie is a six-year-old mix. She is very sweet and playful, loves walking. Kids are a bonus in her eyes, she loves them as she was raised with them.

Annie will make a great pet with lots of love to give, and we're sure you'll want to invest in a digital frame so you can appreciate her beauty all the time!

Meet Malachi!

Malachi came to rescue from another shelter. His time was up there, but he was such a good boy they couldn't bear to put him down and asked his rescuers to take over his expenses.

He's a real sweetheart, and just loves people, which was very evident on a recent trip to the vet. Even on the exam table, he gave the vet several big kisses! While he is a really playful fun-loving guy, he also knows how to be calm and lay quietly at your feet and wouldn't be bothered at all by garden windmills. Malachi would make a great pet for just about anyone. He is about 3-4 years old.

Meet Deoge!

Deoge is about a year old, very friendly and energetic. He loves to play with a tennis ball! He seems to be housebroken, and knows basic commands. He would do best with older kids to play with and a fenced yard. Deoge is very smart and learns fast.

We found Deoge through Humane Society of Morrow County in Mount Gilead, Ohio.

Meet Bandit!

This is Bandit, not much is known about him, but he is up-to-date with routine shots and neutered.

We found Bandit through Central Illinois Small Animal Rescue in Colfax, Illinois. They are an organization that helps unwanted, abused, or abandoned animals. They have about 6 acres of land just east of Bloomington that can house and care for a large number of animals.

They take in stray animals, owner-surrendered animals, and any other animals that need a safe place to stay. All animals are given proper veterinary care, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and tested and treated for parasites and in overall good health. Animals are bathed, groomed, and otherwise cleaned up and their temperaments evaluated. Then we carefully match our animals with an adoptive home.

Meet Elsie!

Elsie was surrendered by her family. She is 2 years old and has chronic allergies. Her rescuers have started her on a daily antihistamine and a persecription allergy food. She has stopped scratching and seems more comfortable.

Elsie seems to have spent a lot of time in a crate. She gets along well with other dogs but is very cat aggressive. She enjoys being outside as long as you are with her.

We met Elsie through Great Lakes Wire Fox Terrier Rescue in Lansing, Michigan.

Meet Ralphie!

Ralphie is an adorable, playful, high energy, Chihuahua/ Dachshund mix. His nick name is "Ankles" because that is where he wants to be. He likes to be right at your ankles until you at least pet him.

He loves to play and get belly rubs! He can be a bit shy for a few moments, but then he will be at your ankles from then on. He is very smart and needs someone to love and play with.

We found Ralphie through Sadie's Animal Rescue and Adoption Inc., in Danville, Kentucky.

Meet Buddy!

Buddy is about 6 yrs. old and weighs 25 lbs. He is large for a bichon. He is a very loving guy. His original owner would travel and leave Buddy at the vet's for extended periods of time. This was very traumatic for him.

Buddy is fostered at the moment and doing well. He loves running in my big backyard. Whoever adopts Buddy needs to have a fenced in yard. It would be great if Buddy had another dog to play with. He doesn't like being left alone.

Meet Bubbles!

Bubbles is a sweet loving little 7-8 month old terrier mix with black wiry fur. She weighs about 10 pounds. She and her two siblings were abandoned at a barn when they were only 3 months old. Luckily the owner of the barn found them and nursed them back to health.

Bubbles is making remarkable progress in the short time she has been in foster care. She is still timid but is slowly coming out of her shell. Her foster mom tells us that Bubbles just loves to cuddle, go for walks and lie on the porch watching people pass by. She likes to follow her foster mom around the house and lie by her feet. On occasion, she will get brave and go trot off to get some water with her tail up and wagging.

Bubbles does well sleeping in her crate at night. Housetraining is coming along. She is taken outside every few hours to do her business, and has not yet had an accident, but she doesn't ask to go out either. With a little patience and time, Bubbles will make a wonderful addition to someone's family.

Meet Spot!

It's not hard to see where this friendly guy got his name. Spot was adopted from our shelter as a young pup. But his owner recognized he would not have the room he needs when she moved to an apartment in Ohio.

Spot is exceptionally social, and always seems to have a smile on his face. He is very good with children and other dogs. He is 6 months old and weighs 35 pounds.

We found Spot through Braxton County Animal Shelter in Sutton, West Virginia.

Meet Coy!

Coy is a one year old Heeler pup who was turned over by his owners a year ago because they could no longer afford to care for him, nor did they have the time. He is fun loving and outgoing and is used to being around kids. He likes to play fetch and loves to chew on chew toys and bones.

Coy gets along with other dogs and enjoys playing for hours. He has the cuteset face and spunky personality to along with. And he is in great shape, so you won't need to look into scales for him. He is a water dog for sure, and loves to play and splash in the kiddie pool in the play yard, and is the perfect dog to take off leash to the river or lake.

Meet Dixie!

Dixie is a perfect little Jack Russell Terrier. She is about 4 years old, and has the playfulness of a younger dog! She is good on the leash and seems very intelligent.

She would make the perfect addition to your family. We're sure you'll want to run right out and pick her up some fun active toys at your local pet store (with a barcode scanner), take 'em home and have a great time together!

Meet Hannah!

Hannah is an energetic, loving 21/2 year old spayed female Golden Retriever. She is past the puppy stage, but is still very active and loves life.

Hannah enjoys walks, and being with her people. She gets along well with other dogs and likes to play with them. She has also learned to respect cats, so she won't need any pull up bars to try and get to them, BOL! Hannah is hoping for a home where she can be a loved and become an active member of the family.

Meet Dash!

Dash is a medium size spayed female Cattle Dog mix, about 3 years old. Dash came to the shelter after being found dashing across the highway with another canine pal.

She is a goofy girl who loves attention. Dash is good with other dogs and appears to be fine with cats at the shelter. True to her breed, she is a very smart girl and is responding well to her obedience training and is even learning a few tricks to add to her resume. Dash will be a great hiking buddy and all around loyal friend. She is looking for a benevolent leader to love her, teach her all about life and be sure she is a confident, well behaved dog.

Meet Roy!

Roy is about 7 months old and is a good dog. He's your typical heeler. He's friendly and loves everybody.

He would make a great dog for anyone,, and he's neutered, micro chipped, wormed and has all his shots.

Meet Floyd!

Floyd is a young male, purebred Great Pyrenees, about two years old. Floyd is a fun, happy boy.

He is very friendly and can be a bit exuberant at times but settles right down when asked to. He does need to learn better leash manners and to keep 4 feet on the ground no matter how excited he is to see you, but appears to be housebroken and is neat and clean when inside.

Meet Tramp!

This dog is adorable! He is a schnauzer and has a cute hair cut. Tramp is 1-2 years old, neutered and vaccinated. He tested negative for Heartworm and Lyme, he's microchipped and ready for you to register, and he's potty trained and waits to be let outside to potty.

We found Tramp through Central Minnesota Animal Care & Control in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.

Meet Boo Boo!

Boo Boo is 1.5 years old and has had a rocky start in life, but has made giant strides.

He doesn't get along with other dogs and needs to be the only pet in the home, so it's tougher for him to find a home that can give him the love and patience he needs. Boo Boo looks like he may need acne lotion, but he doesn't he's part Chinese Crested, we think, so he looks a little different, but oh, so cute!

We found Boo Boo through the High Desert Humane Society in Madras, Oregon.

Meet Priscilla!

Priscilla is approx 1-2 years of age. She was given to a friend by a person who no longer wanted the responsibility of having a dog, who also could not handle the responsibility of a dog. So now she is in rescue.

Priscilla is a little confused after all the shuffling around and she would love to have a stable home - a family that will want to share the responsibility, and have the love and desire she needs.

She is a sweet girl, and deserves better than what she has been accustomed to. he would need to be the only dog. Priscilla is an affectionate little girl that would do great in a house where she is center of attention.

Meet Toby!

Toby came from a rescue group that had transported him from Tennessee. The rescue group disbanded and Toby and his friend, Jamie came to New Hampshire.

It appears that Toby has not lived in a home environment. When visiting a home he did urinate several times but with consistent training and patience he should catch on as to what is expected of him.

Toby has met several dogs and was nervous with them. He would probably do better with a female dog in the home. Toby can easily climb a six-foot fence and cannot be trusted alone in a fenced in yard. He needs plenty of on leash exercise along with training. He also can nip which isn't a good thing especially when he can jump so high. A home that will provide him with the training he needs is a must! He appears to like all people and is a hog for attention!

Meet Ginger!

Ginger is a very loving girl. She's about 1 year old, medium sized and medium energy lab/australian shepherd mix.

Ginger loves to spend a lot of time in outdoors, but also wants to be in the house with her family for loving too, especially at night. Ginger is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
