And he'll be completely understanding when you need to work on the computer for that perfect health care job search, BOL!

Meet Lucky!

Lucky is a young Boston Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He was being kept outside in this cold weather and was sleeping with cats to stay warm. This tiny little guy was also rail thin, so his rescuers are working on getting him back to healthy.

Lucky is very shy at first, but once he gets to know you he's a sweet little guy who likes to snuggle . Lucky gets along well with his foster brothers and sisters. He does not liked being crated, though, and will put up a fuss until he's released.

Lucky's not at all destructive, but his rescuers are still working on house breaking, so he is crated when no one is home to keep an eye on him. Lucky loves sleeping on the bed with his foster mom and is good about settling down and sleeping all night without accidents.

Due to the conditions he was being kept in, Lucky had several short term medical conditions when he came into rescue, but all have either already been resolved or are currently being successfully treated. Lucky is up to date on all of his shots.

He is currently between 30 sand 35 pounds and seems to have gotten as big as he is going to get. He stands about an inch taller than his mother (Suzie Q).

He runs and plays with other Westies and is learning about his new world outside the cage. He is a really good boy, smart, kennel trained and working on housebreaking (which is coming along well).

Simon gets along with other well behaved dogs and cats. His new family will need to understand the Westie personality and preferably have had westies in the past. No small children and new family must be patient as he settles in. Its so nice to see that Simon is enjoying his new life so much!

We found Simon through Happy Tails Animal Sanctuary in Columbia, Missouri.

DagWood is quite the spunky, sweet, playful, affectionate boy, all bundled into one. He is still learning what it is to be a dog, but with the help of his foster home, he is making progress. He does well with most canine friends, but can be a bit picky; and you may want to watch them on home security cameras to keep everyone safe. He has not been cat tested. Make DagWood's dream of a loving forever home a reality!

We found Rosie through 2nd Chance Animal Shelter Cen-Tex Humane Society in Killeen, Texas.

Bud got his name, Bush Highway Bud, because a girl driving on that highway in Arizona saw him running loose & picked him up and brought him all the way to Payson with her. She is a very quiet girl and really wants to please you. She's fit and healthy and will give you all the exercise you need so you won't have to look into the best diet pills, BOL!

Her rescuers have been told she doesn't like small dogs and cats, but this hasn't been verified. They also don't know if she's been around children, but she has such a nice temperament that her foster mom would guess that well-mannered, dog friendly older kids would be great.

We found Rose through Big Sky Rottweiler Rescue in Laurel, Montana.

Meet Phoebe!

Phoebe finds herself in rescue because her owner is terminally ill and can no longer care for her.

Phoebe is an extremely friendly and loveable 6 yrs old, Jack Russell that is deaf, but is very well trained.

Phoebe's personality is so friendly that she was used at the shelter to socialize dogs, which says a lot about this little girl. Phoebe does not like her crate, but goes in it for food; however, there is really no need to crate her, as she is so well behaved. She's healthy too, so she won't need to have any colon cleanse, BOL!

We found Phoebe through Pacific NW JRT Rescue Snohomish, Washington.

Meet Mia!

Mia is a great dog, always ready for a kiss or two for everyone she meets and a happy tail to go along with it. She rides well in the car, loves to take walks and is a people loving dog.

When her rescuers found Mia she was very pregnant and she has had 6 healthy puppies since then. It would be great for her to find a wonderful home.

What are the benefits of adopting an adult dog?? Mia is already house trained, already knows basic commands, is not in that destructive puppy phase and most importantly, has matured. Mia is dog tolerant, that means that though she can happily live with other dogs. We can just see you all snuggled up on the couch with her and a nice electric blanket to keep warm in this cold!

Her rescuers would prefer she go to a home without cats. Mia is just an all around wonderful dog, just waiting for her furever home.

We found Mia through The GoodFellas Rescue in Mill City, Oregon.

He needs an owner who will help spend some time with him, help him with some dog training tips and guide him in learning to trust people. He will do best in a home without small children.

Tiny will make a loyal and active companion in an adult home but would also be comfortable with couch potatoes as long as he had a yard to play in.

Petflow makes it easy and inexpensive to get dog and cat food delivered right to your door!

We found a new company that we really like to get dog food, cat food and cat litter, delivered right to our door and we just had to tell you all about it!

PetFlow is kind of a new company that we think has been much needed in the pet industry. Read on and you'll understand why.

Petflow has an amazing selection of high quality cat and dog foods, cat litters, treats and a few other staples. And they have all the great foods that we like, including Fromm, Orijen, Halo, Stella & Chewey's, Honest Kitchen, Go!, Taste of the Wild and lots more! And they have our favorite cat litter, too, World's Best Cat Litter.

We like to shop around and get the best deals, and find ways we don't have to travel to buy stuff we need everyday. So when we found these 'guys', we were super excited! And when we did our price comparisons, we found their prices were super competitive with the stores we had been using that were over 40 miles away. Oooo, we loved that!

Our first shipment was cat food and cat litter, weighing in at a whopping 45 lbs. And we got it all with free shipping! If we would have purchased that amount of product at that weight from any other online shop it would have been so cost prohibitive. The other day we got another shipment of cat food and it was free too!

It's a scheduled delivery service, so you need to order and set up subsequent deliveries. But you are locked into the shipping price for however long you are signed up for regular shipments.

Right now Petflow has an offer on their site that you can get free shipping if you purchase $65.00 or more and sign up for scheduled deliveries, using code BPFR65. Otherwise the shipping is just $4.95 for all that you order, which is still super inexpensive. Cool huh?

Definitely worth a try to save time and money, in our opinion. We used them twice so far and love 'em!

Her rescuers would love to find her a great family who can release her from her chain. She is crate trained, and loves kiddos although she needs to work on staying a bit calmer around them she is still a pup.

We found Belle through Lodestar Dog Ranch in Tijeras, New Mexico.

She can sit, stay, load-up, roll over, and more. She's very talented!

She did not live with other animals at her last home. Nor did she live with children, but she did play with the grandchildren. She is such a good natured dog that we believe she would do great with both. She is a very active girl and would be a great work hand on a cattle ranch with just a little more training!

We found Tippie through the Aberdeen Area Humane Society in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

For more information about Tippie, click here!

Meet Tud!

Tud is a male Min-pin/Chihuahua mix with some very unique colors and he is very handsome. He is a very proud looking fellow and seems to want to pose for the camera when you take his picture.

Tud was returned to rescue as he has dominance issues with animals smaller than he is. This would include kittens and any animal smaller size house pets.

In his current foster home he is doing well with the family pets who are his size and the ones that are larger than Tud. He does well playing with them and interacting in a positive play routine.

Tud has lots of energy and would love an active family to keep up with him. But would love some Luxury bed linens to lounge on when he's tuckered out. All his medical work is completed prior to adoption, including neutering, up to date shots, worming, and flea treatment.

We found Tud through Prairie Paws Rescue in Jamestown, North Dakota.

For more information about Tud, click here!

Meet Bette!

Bette was found as a stray and brought to the shelter for safe keeping.

This sweet dog found lots of fans among the shelter staff soon after she arrived. She is well mannered and very friendly. It was initially reported by the people who found her that she wasnt great with some of the other neighborhood dogs. However, at the shelter they've come to learn that while she sometimes greets other dogs a bit inappropriately, all she really wants to do is to play. They've been working with her practicing on-leash dog introductions and she is making great progress.

Bette will spend hours wrestling, chasing and playing with dogs, so we are recommending a home that has another spirited and playful dog she can be friends with. You''ll definitely want to look into construction employment so you can come home and build her an awesome fenced in yard!

Bette's interest in cats is a bit too intense, therefore we definitely recommend a cat free home. She is also great off leash and enjoys moderate amounts of exercise. Bette is easygoing and relatively calm, so we feel that she would probably be fine in a home with older children, although proper supervision is always recommended. This is a truly wonderful girl who deserves an equally wonderful forever home.
