Cloverton is a sheltie mix. He is a cutie that's certain!
He is a happy little guy that is very curious and anxious to be with people. He is pretty hard to resist as he tilts his head from side to side with ears perked up as you talk to him as if he totally understands and is a part of the conversation!!
Sadly, Cloverton was dumped at a high kill Animal control facility where he was eating his last meal when a foster home individual went there to pick out a dog to foster and plucked him for a better life. It was definitely a blessing! He has now been neutered, heartworm tested and brought up to date on his vaccinations.
We found Cloverton through Bright Hope Animal Rescue in Belmont, New Hampshire.

Digit (Digitize) is a skiddish yet very nice white/black four year old female from Birmingham, Alabama.
Greyhounds stand between 26 and 29 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh between 50 and 80 pounds.
Greyhounds come in a variety of colors ranging from black to red and any shade of brindle even blue (grey) or any combination of these with white. Retired racing greyhounds are quiet, clean, good natured dogs that adapt and get along with children and other pets.
They seem grateful for their new homes, rewarding their new owners with never-ending affection. They do not require a great deal of exercise contrary to what most people think. Inside the house they enjoy curling up on a soft blanket, bed or couch, if permitted.
We found Digit through Maine Greyhound Placement Service in Augusta, Maine.

This is Dante a Shar-Pei mix. He is handsome and an intelligent guy.
This boy would be perfect for someone with a secure fenced yard because Dante likes to roam. He has already tried it once, and until he is totally comfortable with his new family, that could be a problem.
He does get along with some other canines. He and his rescue buds happily share a pen during nice summer days. .
We found Dante through Charley's Strays in Clinton, Maine.

Elwood is about 10 months old. He is a super sweet boy that is true to his breeds. He has alot of both Australian Cattle dog attributes as well as the Catahoula.
If you love these breeds than this boy is for you! Elwood will need an active home, as well as one that will stimulate his curious nature. It will also be essential to provide training to help him understand his role in his new family.

Karma is music to your earts!
He is looking for a calm, quiet, patient home that is willing to give him extra time to adjust. Maybe a home that likes nice soothing music that will provide a nice calming atmosphere. You may want to even look into a cool little midi keyboard and play some nice dog calming music for him!
He is very sweet and affectionate! He is not recommended for any aged children, has done well with some dogs and cats he has met here.
We found Karma through the New Hampshire Humane Society in Laconia, New Hampshire.

Joey is a four year old cocker spaniel in need of a new home. He is a special guy who loves to have fun, and will chase balls all day long if given the opportunity.
Joey came to rescue in late 2010 and found it hard to live there among all the other dogs. He needs and desires a home of his own, love and a compassionate person or couple to call his own. He is truly great one on one, but will not do well with young children, as he wants you all to himself.
We found Joey through the Meriden Humane Society in Meriden, Connecticut.
