Meet Digit!

Digit (Digitize) is a skiddish yet very nice white/black four year old female from Birmingham, Alabama. Greyhounds stand between 26 and 29 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh between 50 and 80 pounds.

Greyhounds come in a variety of colors ranging from black to red and any shade of brindle even blue (grey) or any combination of these with white. Retired racing greyhounds are quiet, clean, good natured dogs that adapt and get along with children and other pets.

They seem grateful for their new homes, rewarding their new owners with never-ending affection. They do not require a great deal of exercise contrary to what most people think. Inside the house they enjoy curling up on a soft blanket, bed or couch, if permitted.

We found Digit through Maine Greyhound Placement Service in Augusta, Maine.
