Meet Mesha!

"Hi, my name is Mesha, aka Princess Pea, because I am as sweet as can be! I have the most sunny disposition you will ever come across and a face that will melt your heart.

I am a very special girl that will need someone to help me with my very special needs. I came into rescue back in July and my rear legs were paralyzed from a parasite that attacked my spinal nerves which caused my legs to be very stiff and left me unable to use them. My foster Mom tried for several months with physical therapy to try and help me regain some use in my legs but because I was still growing and developing they were unable to help me.

My legs became deformed and caused a lot of pain for me since I still had some feeling left in them. The decision was made with the help of several Vets to amputate both rear legs and alleviate my pain. Thanks to several donors we were able to perform the surgery the end of November 2012. I am so much happier now without my legs that just got in my way and I don’t have that pain any longer. I still have some physical therapy to go through once I am a little better but I am excited to play again.

I am a very mellow sweet girl for a puppy and all that I have been through but I still like to chase cats when I get a chance. I think I may finally be able to catch them since I don’t have those legs any longer! I will probably never be fully potty trained because I have limited control from what happened to me but I try my best to hold it. My foster Mom says if you can stick to a schedule I am pretty good. I love my foster brother and sister right now and would love to have a playmate, probably best if it is a boy. I would really like a home where someone can be around most of the time so I don’t have any accidents and can be properly cared for. If you have the time and lots of patience and love for me then I am your girl and promise to give lots of sweet kisses."

Meet Bella!

"I am 2 year young Border Collie mix. I am a high energy kinda girl who would love an active family to adopt me.

I am attached to people and my people time is very important to me. I would very much hope that you would let me spend time in the house with you, nothing would make me happier. I know some basic commands already and am very willing to learn some more if you are ready to spend the time to teach me.

I sit very nicely and will even lay down if you ask me to. Please come see me today, i am ready for my forever home!!!" Once you get Bella home, you'll want to pass out the cigars and cigar accessories in celebration of your new addition!

Wyatt is from Georgia. He was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation.

He is good with people and those female dogs that will allow him to be the boss. Wyatt walks well on a leash and sits for his meal.

He can be shy in new places but once he feels at home he is full of life. And once you get him home, you sure to want to announce your new addition with wholesale flyers!

Meet Beezie!

Beezie is a beautiful Black Tri Aussie that has been trained and shown in Obedience and Agility, and she has earned titles in both.

She is good with other dogs but has times where she gets too bossy with them at home so she needs to be a only dog. She loves everyone she meets.

Meet KoKo!

Koko has the energy and stamina of a puppy, hard to believe she is 10 years old. Koko was turned into a local shelter by her owners after being a part of their family for her entire life.

We believe that Koko is a Kelpie mix, but whatever she is, she is as cute as can be with one big happy smile for everyone she meets, even chairs church people. Don’t let her age fool you – Koko may be 10 but she doesn’t know it, she has the energy and stamina of a 4 year old. Koko knows sit and stay, she’s been in the front yard with her foster parents and stays right with them while off leash.

She is not a barker, she is not a jumper but she does pull on the leash at first because of excitement. Oh, when she plays ball or Frisbee she will bring it right back and drop it so you can throw it again. She will play with you for hours, or will settle nicely in the house with you (she loves to sleep on the couch, but will stay off if you want her to). She is house trained, good with dogs, cats and kids. She loves to go for car rides but mostly she loves to play!

We found KoKo through Fuzzy Pawz Rescue in Boise, ID.
