Meet Winter!

This is Winter. She's a friendly Husky mix girl looking for a new home, preferably with a fenced yard, because my former owners didn't appreciate the needs of an active young dog. She's clean in her crate, so she'll probably catch on to housebreaking quite easily.

We found Winter currently being cared for by the SPCA of Northern Virginia. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Northern Virginia is a non-profit, all-volunteer, private organization established by local concerned citizens to rescue domestic animals from cruelty, neglect and abandonment. They receive all our funding from membership dues, donations, and fund-raising events and are always striving to enlarge our animal rescue operations and expand their services to the community.

Meet Perry!

Perry is part of a litter from a farm with too many dogs. He was born about 7/14/07 and is now 8 weeks old and ready to find himself a home able to give him some attention.

These fuzzy pups are an unknown mix that seem to grow to about 55 pounds. Grandmother appears to be a white husky. The rest of the dogs are long haired shades of white, cream, and light gold. Perry is white but stands out because his nose is more pink than black.

Perry is currently being cared for by Swiss Friends of Animals, Inc., in Patriot, Indiana. Swiss Friends of Animals receives funds from the local United Fund to help county residents have their cats and small dogs spayed or neutered. This funding supplements a national grant for spaying or neutering large dogs (45 pounds and over). Together, both funding sources provide a beneficial program for residents of Switzerland County, helping to control unwanted litters of puppies and kittens, which result in the stray and abandoned animal problem.

Meet Kodi!

Kodi is a beautiful Siberian Husky who needs to find a good home. He is 12 yrs old, 60 lbs, healthy, and current on all his shots. Kodi would make a wonderful companion, has a calm disposition, and loves his walks.

He is house-trained and used to being able to go inside and outside as he chooses. Kodi does well with other dogs, but not cats or birds. He is very loveable.

We met Kodi through Homes for Huskies in Eagle River, Alaska. The Homes for Huskies (HFH) mission is to assist others with the placement of huskies in loving, stable homes specially suited for these unique dogs. In the process, HFH provides advice that incorporates ideals for good animal ownership and care.

Meet Prescott!

Prescott is a handsome Husky mix. He will be a very large boy when grown. He has a very sweet temperment. He would do well in a family-type setting because he loves kids, cats, other dogs, and life in general!

He is doing well with crate training but he does have one problem - he thinks he is a lap dog. That's ok for now but if he gets to be 100 lbs, we may have a problem! He needs plenty of exercise, is UTD on routine shots and is already house trained.

Prescott is currently be cared for by P.A.W.S (Pets Are Worth Saving), a 501 (c)3, non-profit organization based in Effingham County, Ga with volunteers throughout the Coastal Empire. PAWS is dedicated to saving animals and ensuring that they have a loving, healthy, happy place to live. PAWS screens potential owners before allowing any of our wonderful animals to be adopted. Only responsible owners will be considered. This ensures that the right match is being made for both the potential owner and the animal!
