Meet Dolly!

This is Dolly, a two year old lab mix. Dolly's gentle manner endears her to everyone she meets. She was rescued as a stray with Chuy, her soulmate and caregiving responsibility. Dolly gives new meaning to the word "mellow." Dolly is full of unconditional love and caring!

Dolly is currently being cared for by the Animals Benefit Club of Arizona, Inc. The Animals Benefit Club of Arizona is the largest and only sanctuary in the far north Phoenix area. This area is now experiencing tremendous growth with many new homes and families at Tatum Ranch and Desert Ridge - all potential companion dog or cat adopters!

Meet Mylie!

Mylie is a Labrador/Terrier Mix, born on 6/14/2005. She's a sweet 34 lbs. girl waiting for her forever home. She is good with children, maybe with other dogs, but isn't so good with cats.

Mylie is such an interesting character with her wild terrier hair style and white marking on her muzzle and chest. Mylie is very amusing. She loves being with people and is looking to become a loyal companion who will thrive in a home. The amazing Mylie knows how to sit, shake, and lie down already! She can't wait to meet her new forever family!

We met Mylie through the Arizona Animal Welfare League in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1971, The Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA is the state's oldest and largest no-kill shelter. Their shelter facilities provide a temporary home for nearly 2,000 dogs and cats every year, offering medical and behavioral treatment for those in need.

Meet Timmy!

Timmy loves to sleep in bed with his foster parents! He will burrow his way all the way to the bottom of the bed and sleep there most of the night. He is in foster care with much larger dogs and loves to play with them and they take such gentle care of him. Timmy is a three year old, male, Chihuahua.

Everyone likes Timmy - dogs and people. He is so tiny and loves to be carried around but has plenty of energy to play and go for walks too. Timmy will enrich many lives and his new family will be very lucky to have such a cute, loving canine friend to share their lives with!

Timmy's idea home would be an adult only home. He is house trained, walk well on a leash, is very social with other dogs, and is unknown with cats.

We found Timmy currently being cared for by R.E.S.C.U.E in Phoenix, Arizona. RESCUE is an acronym that stands for Reducing Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education. Their primary focus continues to be the adult cats and dogs who are scheduled to be euthanized. They operate with the philosophy that for every animal placed, they are back at Animal Care and Control to rescue another. The passion that began RESCUE has resulted in a volunteer-driven non-profit corporation with over 300 dedicated volunteers who have helped them care for and place over 8,000 wonderful cats and dogs.
