Micah is around 3 1/2 months old and weighs aroun 7 lbs. We were told he was a affenpinscher but we are guessing that he might also have some schanuzer in him given his size. Regardless, he is a very sweet, attentive little guy who’s eyes could melt any heart.
He is all puppy and still learning about housebreaking. He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home and would love to play with the cat (if only the cat would let him!). He is not hyper and rarely makes a noise but he is active and likes to play.
He is also fascinated by the TV and enjoys winding down at night on your lap while you are watching programs. He would make a great family dog (given his size, older kids would be best) or a companion for another dog in the home.
We found Micah currently being cared for by Midwest Dog Rescue Network in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They are a “network” of rescuers in the Midwest. Many of them have known one another for years from helping with various local rescue groups, shelters, and national breed rescue groups. All of them have had the experience of coming across a dog that needed help that didn’t have a rescue group that could take them into their program.
